Tasting Notes:
Traditional Georgian Qvevri fermented wine that is quite tannic, full-bodied, and well-balanced. Flavours of ripe stone fruits, dried orange, tea leaves, and subtle spice. Long, structured, with a pleasant grip from the tannins and lingering notes of dried fruit and minerality.
On the nose: Dominant notes of black tea and blueberry leaf tea, complemented by hints of cornelian cherry, fig, and white cherry jam.
Pairing: Pairs best with khashlama, chakapuli, and grilled pork skewers. This style of wine also pairs well with roasted meats, aged cheeses, and rich seafood dishes due to its bold structure and aromatic complexity.

Kakhuri Mtsvane is a Georgian white grape variety primarily grown in the Kakheti region. Typically, it produces fresh, aromatic wines with floral and citrus notes. However, when vinified in the traditional Qvevri style, it can develop notable tannic structure, making it more textured and complex.
