Dry red wine made from specially selected Saperavi grapes hand-picked from vineyards located in Gurjaani district, Kakheti Region. Known for its ability to withstand extremely cold weather, Saperavi produces deep red wines that are suitable for extended aging. The wine is placed in oak barrels for 10-12 months to create a complex palate of oak, tannins, fruit and vanilla. Due to light filtration, it becomes full-bodied and velvety. Deep garnet in colour, it carries a tone of fruity nuances with dominant aromas of berries in its bouquet. Long-lasting notes of crushed sour cherries, overripe fruits and occasional smoke overtones, crowned by moderate hints of oak in its flavour. Great with pork ribs, curry flavoured dishes and various meat salads.
