Winiveria Khikhvi Qvevri - (Unfiltered) 2019- produced using “Qvevri method.” A Qvevri is a uniquely Georgian creation, a large subterranean clay jar, in which wines are fermented and matured on both skins and stems. This gives Qvevri wines a dimension of flavour and aroma not found in other wines.

The wine is extracted and bottled without filtering, preserving all the raw flavors.
Tasting Notes: Rare Georgian white grape variety from Kakheti region that produces great Amber/Qvevri wines that are very aromatic, less tannic and acidic, which makes it a great introductory wine to Qvevri/Amber wines. Lots of fruit on the nose, with hints of almond, honey, apricot, spices and dried fruit. It's dry, but pleasant dry, good minerality, hints of dried apricot, mandarin peel.
